Study Overview
This meta-study reviewed the clinical efficacy of low-intensity extracorporeal shock wave therapy (Li-ESWT) for the treatment of erectile dysfunction (ED). The analysis included 52 studies focusing on various types of ED.
Key Findings:
- Mean age of patients: 55.87±7.91 years
- Mean duration of ED: 4.36±2.08 years
- IIEF-5 score improved from 12.04 at baseline to 16.85 at 12 months
- EHS improved from 2.00 at baseline to 2.87 at 12 months
